Casa Portuguesa

This is one of the better Portuguese restaurants in the area and the food was delicious and fairly priced. Take out has many different tasty options including seafood rice which isn't typically common. Only criticism is that some of the food sat out a bit too long making it drier than normal but I think once the place is really noticed and is busy as it should be, that won't be an issue anymore. Highly recommend trying.

The possibilities here are absolutely endless!!! A hidden gem and a much needed addition to the neighborhood. You are guaranteed a FRESH and AUTHENTIC Portuguese meal everytime you visit. The place is immaculately kept and its like stepping into another world. When entering Casa Portuguesa you will see that they also carry all those goodies we can only find in Portugal and if you have a sweet tooth, their dessert is TO DIE FOR.

Absolutely wonderful spot and just what we needed in Toronto. Another review says that they charge "as if you're eating there," well, all restaurants charge the same price for eat-in and take-out. I have not once seen a restaurant provide a discount because you are taking out. The prices are very reasonable and the food is FRESH and DELICIOUS. They even have delicious and fresh desserts which you can easily grab with your take out order. The inside of the restaurant is so beautiful and brings me back home to Portugal. The close attention to detail is unmatched as the light fixtures are shaped after veggies, the clotheslines at the windows, and dried cod fish hanging! I've already had 5 different meals here and each time I am more impressed than the last! I can't wait to see the success that will follow, especially once this virus is gone!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

This restaurant is located in the perfect area! I drove by to grab some take out for my kids. Food was so fresh and so delicious. My kids ate everything ( they are picky eaters ). The restaurant inside is absolutely beautiful, you definitely feel like you have a bit of Portugal. Worth a visit !!
