Marsh's Stoves & Fireplaces

Was having issues with my gas fire place. Spoke with John on the phone, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist us with our problems. I'd give 6 out 5 stars if I could.

In November we visited Marsh's Stove & Fireplace to consider a replacement wood burning stove. The staff described the models and patiently answered all of our questions and offered a quote. After considering for a couple of days, we called the store to place the order. Alan came over to our home to take a look and do a final review that all would fit appropriately before moving ahead. With a backlog of supply, the stove was delivered and installed at the end of the January, including adding the chimney liner, covering up the existing openings from the old stove and creating a new opening closer to the ceiling for better draft. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase and the experience.

We purchased 2 gas fire places for our home 15 years ago. We have never had an issue until tonight. We called when both pilot lights suddenly went out?
We called at 6pm on a very cold February evening and John answered and patiently walked us (not so technical people) through how to get both fireplaces going!!

We looked at many vendors of gas insert fireplaces and found that Marsh Stoves had an excellent selection of inserts and are extremely knowledgeable about the products they carried. They are also a well established and local area company. They came to our residence measured our existing fireplace opening, room size and made several recommendations to us as to what products would fit our application. We chose a Capri 34 from the Marquis Collection, a Canadian company located in Winnipeg The fireplace was delivered and installed by Marsh within three days. Marsh’s installers were extremely polite and knowledgeable about the product and the installation of both the insert and the chimney liner were done smoothly and time was taken to walk through the operating features of the insert and the remote controller that came with the unit. We had a follow up call several days later to ensure we were happy with the insert and the install. We couldn’t be more happy with our purchase and our dealings with Marsh Stove.

Took a while to get installation appointment sorted out, but the installation is completed and everything looks great now! The installation process ran smoothly and job well done in a Covid environment.
