Staff is unbelievable with a really great core group of supportive members
I had Fatima as a personal trainer, and let me tell you, she was awesome. Perfect balance of understanding my limits and working with them, and pushing me to put in all my effort. Going in my goal was to learn proper form, what areas to focus on when lifting weights, and the importance of having variety in your workout regimen. She would even remind me to drink my water after I had mentioned to her how awful I was at remembering to. Overall, Fatima is very easy to get along with, gives the right amount of motivation based on your comfort levels, and the proof is in the results. Very thankful for all her help.
Price wise, it is completely worth every dollar for the level of expertise, professionally, and quality of care that not only Fatima, but the whole team had shown me during my visits. The space has a very woodsy-canadian outdoors vibe, which I love, and a very family friendly feel. The staff and their visitors all joke around, the decor is on point, the change rooms are great, they have a sauna.... I mean, they even make smoothies. Come on. Who doesn't love a smoothie?
They also have really nice apparel that I'll be purchasing in the future once I get the ball rolling with my design work. You can tell it is well made and the saying they have on them are either motivators or work out jokes, love that.
Thinking of joining? Just do it. If the price seems up there, just know you are paying for quality service and an overall positive experience. Highly recommend.
After working out at multiple gyms in the city, I reluctantly tried a CrossFit class (intimidation factor was huge for me). Turns out the RedLeaf community is more welcoming than any other spot in town! The coaches are extremely encouraging and truly understand how to break down movements in a way that’s accessible to all. The space itself is clean and well equipped (it even boasts a smoothie bar for post-workout fuel). The classes are both challenging and fun, and there’s such a positive feeling overall. It’s been a year and a half since my first RedLeaf class and I am so much stronger and more confident today.
RedLeaf is my home away from home! Such special people are a part of the RedLeaf community making everyone who walks through their doors feel so welcome. Fantastic staff and programming. Great classes and top of the line trainers for Personal Training!
Very nice CrossFit gym with beautiful facilities. Instructors are very prepared with each class and on-the-ball with their motivational encouragement and rep counting. I feel that compared to other gyms I've been to they really care about your progress which is nice. Small intimate classes so you will get more acknowledgement and the instructors really help you get the most out of each workout. As a newbie I do not feel intimidated here and everyone is really lovely and welcoming. Sauna is great for relaxing after each workout, there is also a snack bar with diet-friendly food, treats, coffee, and smoothies!
