(May 9, 2018, 3:24 pm)I was seeking work for quite sometime before I recently was the successful candidate for a new job I am really enjoying, challenges me and is inline with my skill set. I owe a great deal of gratitude to The Career Foundation and Maria, my employment counselor. Maria guided me through the process from finding job opportunities, resume writing, interview tips and salary negotiation. Maria gave me 100% attention during our meetings and listened to my expectations of how I would like my career to turn out. She worked with my best interest in mind and was available to speak on the phone when i had questions. She is very knowledgeable about current hiring best practices and how to get a potential employer's attention. During the uphill climb of looking for the right fit for a career, I felt strong and confident having Maria and The Career Foundation in my corner. It is great to know this resource is available to us. My only regret is not going to them sooner!
