Fast service, more than I could eat on the plate.

Love the fish and chips here. Been coming here for years since I was a little girl. Not much has changed but the quality and taste has remained consistent. One of the best fish and chips in Cambridge.

I ordered the haddock meal and the portions were great. As my meal was being prepared I looked over to see how they were preparing my meal to find out that many of their products are from sunspun- which is a generic restaurant quality brand that sells pre-packaged fries, sauces, and syrups as well as restaurant supplies. The only thing that was made in house from what I saw was the fish. The fish was crispy and seasoned but tasted like pure grease. The batter tasted like it soaked up way too much oil.

Fantastic fish, good batter, not greasy. Fish held together well too! Chips had a satisfying crunch, not soggy at all like many other places. Slaw was tasty too! Hometown service, always exceeding expectations. Will be back for sure!

The food is amazing.the service could use a bit of a shine, there is usually 1 server working the whole floor. tarter sauce is in packets, wish they had fresh or a jar or squeeze bottle, the packets are bad for greasy fingers and the environment. Too bad the pop is not fountain pop and refillable. This place could change a few things. But they are super clean, food is hot and fresh and not to mention delicious. The fish was crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. They even took us in for dine in about 40 mins before closing time. This spot is ALWAYS busy for take out! We know why!
Would definitely eat here again, this was my 3rd time :)
