We had a great experience with Rosy Pools. They know everything about pools as they answered all of our questions. I appreciated them taking the time to explain! The whole installation took just under 5 weeks but it rained quite a bit for 2 or so weeks so the rain delayed them. They accommodated us as we added the clear deck and a waterfall after they had put the fiberglass pool in. We really appreciated that and know that it was not easy to change plans so suddenly and obtain those products on short notice but Steve and Rob were great about it. Stu was great with concrete and really knew his stuff and gave great suggestions. The stamped concrete turned out really nice. I would suggest doing stamped vs brushed it looks better and it s not slippery like we initially thought. Brandon and Mike (electrical and gas) were also great (on time and their quotes were very close to actual). Overall the pool design turned out better than we had hoped and we are really happy with the final product from Rosy Pools. I highly recommend using them to install your fiberglass pool!

This review has been a long time coming. I have waited till now coincident with the final resolution of a fairly substantial issue arising from the installation of our pool in 2015. I must preface this information with the statement that ultimately, Rosy Recreational was not at fault for this issue however took full ownership and saw that it was rectified. It is for this reason, that I can wholeheartedly endorse Steve Vicente, owner of Rosy Recreational as a Man of high integrity and trustworthiness.

When you’re dropping $40K+ on a pool installation, you expect that the job will be done right and with a degree of professionalism. We initially chose Steve on account of a number of positive online reviews as well as his friendly, approachable manner and demeanor. It was clear from the outset that Steve knew what he was doing and worked with us to customize what would ultimately be installed in our backyard.

Apart from some minor issues with underwater lighting (which Steve saw were rectified on two occasions under warranty), the main (major) issue that we encountered were hairline cracks developing in the clear coat of the fiberglass where the coping was exposed adjacent to the pool deck. Steve explained that the manufacturer of the pool (Narellan) had provided guidance and training on installation when he initially began selling that brand and at no time was it understood that the coping needed to be covered from the elements. I have no reason to doubt him on this as he never would have carried out the installation in this manner had he been trained otherwise.

At any rate, after inspection by a representative from the manufacturer, it was decided that the exposed coping would have to be covered (in our case with stone tile) in order to protect the coping from further solar damage. This same representative explained that the structural integrity of the pool was not in jeopardy and that this was the only way to resolve the issue in the long-term.

After delaying the process (our decision), work began in the Fall of 2020 and after a break over winter, was completed a few weeks ago. Furthermore, I am aware that this resolution came at great financial cost to Rosy Recreational without us being out of pocket beyond what we initially paid for the pool.

The end result is a very professional looking pool deck that surpasses that of what we initially had (stone tile vs stamped concrete). If you’re thinking of installing a pool and expect the contractor to stand behind their product, rest easy knowing that Steve Vicente will do just that. 5 Stars

Rosy (Steve) did an amazing job with my fibreglass pool installation. Steve and all his crew were top notch, very professional and meticulous. The project moved along on schedule and in a timely fashion. Steve looked after many of the little details which took away a lot of the stress involved in such a big project. If you ask me choosing Steve for your pool is just a no brainer. Thanks Steve!!

Steve and team installed our pool in late 2019. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed and working properly. We knew nothing about pools so we had a lot of questions and concerns along the way, all were answered quickly.

Had a pool installed last fall by Steve and his team, Everything went smooth and on time!! Absolutely love the work done and still to this day if I have a question or concern call or email Steve and him or his team get back to me with an answer right away!! Highly recommend Rosy.
