As a gift from Jesus, Mirella has facilitated Intermediate Christian Home (ICH) with christian values for over 20 years as a Ministry for men. She offers a room, warm meals, a heart of patience for men fallen from hard times. Rooted in Christianity there has been a proven success for men regaining their independence. ICH is a safe non-denominational home.
May God be with Mirella and Richard Martin daily on this ministry journey.
I have worked with Mirella and Richard Martin for a few years now. I have watched their love and devotion to their work flourish over the years. I have seen them take on difficult homeless cases and transform the individuals to well-functioning members of society. They go out of their way to rehabilitate and house individuals in ways I have never seen from any other place.
They take the Lord Jesus Christ’s commandments set out in Matthew 25: 31-37 and encompass it into their everyday work. They truly feed the hungry by giving them something to eat; give drink to the thirty; shelter the homeless; provide clothes to those who need it; and look after those who fall ill.
The ICH is a widespan program that sets out ways to teach individuals to learn how to manage and survive in their everyday life. They teach individuals how to cook, clean, manage a household, manage their finances, and most importantly live a full-fledged spiritual life.
I can confidently say that my life has been enriched by working alongside Mirella and Richard. May God bless their ministry in the service.
I have witnessed many men having a very positive experience as a result of living at Intermediate Christian Home (ICH). Mirella and Richard Martin have compassionate hearts for helping the homeless find safe, affordable housing. They offer a comprehensive, faith-based program with the goal of eventually helping men to transition to suitable accommodation out in the community. A unique feature of ICH is that every resident has his own room providing privacy and a quiet environment to rest without the distractions that naturally result when residents are required to share a room.
REVIEW ON I. C. H.
I have known the founders and been aware of the Ministry of I.C.H.
for many years. More recently, I have gotten to know some
of the residents, as well as more about their programs.
For the past three years, I have had two graduates from I.C.H.
live in a separate apartment in my home. I have noticed good
changes in each of their lives and found them to be courteous,
helpful and respectful. In addition, both are keeping actively
in touch with and encouraging other former residents.
I believe it is a sign of success when young men complete a
program and are then willing to continue to support and help
others who they have met along the way.
Respectfully, Nancy White
This is a wonderful and safe place to call home when you need that safe place. It's a very clean and loving environment.
