Man i love this place, I always find what I've been looking for over the years! From paintball gear when I was a little snot nosed kid to cheap tools for when I decided to become a tradesman. It's crazy how well priced everything is! They sell everything from candy to machetes to cooking supplies. Everything I need for a Saturday night out with the family!

Just awesome. I'm always writing reviews with a critical eye because I used to be a supervisor in retail and a trainer of customer service. I was super impressed with the lady at the front who set up the Canada day display. She helped me a few times with questions and was very pleasant. Also the lady in the back area by the artists supplies with the tanned skin was super friendly with my queries. She didn't point out where the items I needed were but actually took me there and was happy to chat. Kitchener surplus is two blocks from my home but I will go to Cambridge surplus whenever time allows me to. Thanks again.

Decent place to find deals! Has some insanely diverse inventory. I’ve frequently shopped here since I was 14... Know your prices tho. Sometimes you can buy stuff for cheaper at another store...

It is an interesting place to shop, as you never know what you will find. They have some good bargains with regard to food, misc., etc. But you have to be a careful shopper, because some items are not any cheaper then other stores. But in general it's a good place to get items at a discount. For example I just bought organic soup and it was at the bargain price of $0.99.
