I was raised Roman Catholic, and as I became a busier adult, church got swept by the wayside. It felt familiar, but I couldn't connect with the old ways anymore. Then after a bad injury, I couldn't make it every week, or take the pain of the different positions during service. I simply couldn't connect to the rituals of service...

Friends asked me if I wanted to join the choir. Seemed like a great activity, but it also meant going to church every Sunday. At first, it was just about singing, but I couldn't help but be captivated by the sermons. Rev. Scott McAndless spoke effortlessly and his sermons are simple, captivating, and current.

I'm not going to say I was saved or found Jesus; I believe you can have a personal relationship with God without going to church. However fhe congregation is friendly and welcoming, plus they host their own food bank, clothing room, and weekly suppers. If you're looking for a place to belong, Andrew's Presbyterian Church is a perfect place to reconnect and feel a part of something bigger. ♡
