This is the first medical professional, EVER, that did not tell me to lose weight. In fact, when I thanked him for that, John said, “How do they suggest you lose weight when every step you take hurts?” I am pain free in my heels now and so happy to be getting active again.

Motorcycle accident 20 years ago… major surgery on my right leg. Ever since my lower back and left hip have been killing me. Starts in morning and gets worse as the day goes on. Every day for decades. It was assumed that it was from the accident and would likely never heal. I have seen many specialists including surgeons, physio therapists etc. None could help me. In 5 minutes John noticed my right leg was shorter. As a quick test he put a stack of business cards under the heel in my right shoe lifting up that side about 2 cm. I walked down the hall of the clinic 90% pain free instantly. Embarrassingly, I broke down a bit. Well to be honest, I balled for about a minute. As a high school teacher I was in a lot of discomfort. Not any longer. John built the lift partially into the orthotic and partially into the outside the shoe so that the shoe would still fit comfortably. This guy’s good! I handed out those (now stinky!) business cards :D and my friends are just as pleased. Thanks John!

After a couple of years struggling with corn building on my feet and walking pain I met with John who explained why I had developed corns and pain while walking. He took measurements of my weight distribution over my feet and made me the orthotics that suddenly eased my pain during walking.

I have been through different doctors and prescribed treatments for the last 2 years but with no results. I had only a temporary relief after treatments for a short period of time. The corns would develop again along with the pain.

I am 76 years old and the orthotics really help me to be able to walk the way I was used to.
