With my respect to the posts below, I’m quite surprise about those negative comments.

Let me tell you that around 9 years ago, This doctor saved my life and still saving my life untill now by his care and professional advices.

I do not want to go in details but after I was bleeding with diarrhea every time I go for stool movement for more than 14 – 18 days which made me lose at least 15 kg in more than 2 weeks.

After two emergency visits to St. Mary and other one visit to Grand River, The three doctors who checked me were telling me nothing wrong showing in the tests/ scans which was driving me and my family crazy at that time because I was bleeding almost every day adding to my weight lose.
After my family doctor refered me to Dr Arif Ismaili, I meet with him and first word I said, Please I need your help to know what I have, I told him three different emergency doctors keep telling me all tests looks ok, follow up with your family Doctor, He checked me then asked me a few questions then told me ok, I would like to see you at St. Mary tomorrow morning to preform colonoscopy procedure on you.

It went very well, He found out that I have between sever and moderate ulcerative colitis, He treated me with heavy medication in the first month then gradually I started to talk different medication
(Sulfasalazine) then a year later he prescribed me (Asacol) which still taking it till now.

I still see him once or twice a year with no problem or bad experience. He is a good kind man.

Also, I would like to mention that his office manager is well professional and helpful when it comes to book or post bond and reschedule appointments or tests.

Extremely knowledgeable doctor, and very kind man. You can really tell he knows what he's doing. Sad how people have one bad interaction and rush to give a bad review!
