I recommend coming to Green Gables over many of the other standard travel options I've experienced. The proprietors offer a personal experience not found at the local hotels. This personal experience includes flexibility, possible rides in bad weather, advice about services, weather, and more. The price is cheaper than many of the hotels in the area; and I found the location perfect for where I needed to go, within walking distance.

They offer a light breakfast option such as oatmeal, muffins, croissants, and fruits. The proprietors would wish me off at the beginning of each day as I went to do my business, a really nice touch. When the weather was icey, they offered me crampons to make sure I wouldn't slip and slide.

To make a reservation, call or email them. I found them not being on major booking sites helpful to keep the direct personal experience.

Attending course in studio over garage. Nice space, owners are lovely.
