Mel's Diner

Only gone here twice but loved their waffles and their staff are very friendly. I ordered extra strawberries with my waffle expecting maybe 2 or 3 sliced and garnished on top but they actually put forth more effort than I thought and gave me a nice display. Food = great. Service = great. Prices =fair.

They have a very generous loyalty points system, they have 5x loyalty points every Tuesday, they have the most amazing breakfast skillets I have ever tasted, and they have the classic breakfast diner vibe down pat! When this place gets busy, it doesn't feel uncomfortable - it actually adds to the restaurant's ambiance. I would highly recommend Mel's Diner to anyone looking for a great place to have breakfast with family or friends.

The place was full and we only waited 5 minutes. We went for breakfast everything was good. The food was traditional breakfast food but it was not greasy ...it was good quality and good portions. The kids meal was well priced and had adequate quantity food for my daughter. We really enjoyed being there, it has a nice 50s dinner look and feel. Would recommend it !

The milkshakes were delicious, and the straws were adorable with the multicoloured stripes and all. Service was really good, especially considering the fact that me and my friend went in the morning when it was packed. She had the eggs benedict on gluten-free bread, while I had the lasagna, and lemme tell you, it was super delicious! I especially loved the tomato sauce that they used, and the amount of cheese that they put on their lasagnas was perfect and not overpowering or underwhelming. 10/10 would go again, and hopefully next time I'll have enough room for one of their delicious looking desserts!

Great classic breakfast place with a large seating area, delicious Breki options and some nice creative ones. I had the chicken waffle Benny which was delicious. The input thing that didn't make it 5 stars was the coffee wasn't great. Service was polite and courteous. Highly recommended.
