A great environment, a great staff, and a great program. UCMAS has taught me a lot about math but even more about life. On paper what you get out of it is a mathematical-based education outside of school, but the biggest lesson I learned was in training myself to do something completely new. When I was first introduced to the concept I was shocked by the abilities of the higher level students, and I never imagined myself being there. After learning a lesson about dedication and patience I found myself graduating with a bunch of other kids who also thought they'd never do it. It's a cool thing to see your time and effort result in something worth achieving, which is something UCMAS got me. Thanks a lot, Mrs. Leeza rules!
I have been attending UCMAS for about 3 years and just recently graduated. The owner Mrs. Leeza is a very kind and welcoming women and genuinely speaking is very flexible with her time. She is also very dedicated to her work and hopes her students apply the knowledge they've learned at UCMAS in their daily lives. She's always there for you when you need help and will try her best to help you. UCMAS helped me a lot in math especially in high school because this program helped my brain think faster in a way and it also helped me focus more at school. Overall I strongly recommend this program for your kids because it really will help them in their day to day life.
UCMAS is a very inclusive and helpful place. I recently graduated from UCMAS and am going to finish the program at the end of this month. I have been going to UCMAS for three years now and this program helped me a lot in school and in my daily life . This program has many benefits to it, one of them is that this program improves your mental math. Mrs. Leeza who is the owner of the Kitchener and Waterloo center is a very nice and helpful teacher. She has helped me a lot while I was enrolled in the program and she was very flexible with her time. I am very thankful that I had Mrs. Leeza as my teacher. Overall, I recommend this program because it has many benefits and can really come in handy in the future.
I have been attending UCMAS for 3 years now and think it’s a wonderful program. I recently graduated and will successfully complete this program at the end of this month. Honestly speaking, UCMAS has helped me develop many skills such as the ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide numbers mentally, something that I thought I would never be able to do, and being capable of doing mental math has positively affected me in school and allows me to efficiently do my work. I thank my instructor Mrs. Leeza (the owner) and all the great teachers that work there because I wouldn’t be where I am right now without them. Mrs. Leeza is really nice and will always help you when in need. Overall I recommend this program because of its many benefits and how it has helped me grow as a person.
UCMAS is a very inclusive program in which anyone of any academic capacity can join and better their skills in math using the abacus. As a student, volunteer, and employee there with more than 8 years of experience, I can truly say that UCMAS and its instructor, Mrs. Leeza, were very helpful in paving my way in to the University of Waterloo. I had an overall successful and some of the best experience at the Kitchener Centre. Thanks!
