Borealis Grille & Bar (Kitchener)

They do a great job of showcasing the fresh locally sourced ingredients by not over seasoning. Service is pleasant.
However I was served a pork belly with jelly like skin.
Having skin that is neither rendered or crispy at a time where it's on every menu in the province is hard to overlook.

Local sourced food that taste amazing. The chicken tacos with everything made from scratch is an experience you want to have. Many things on their menu are made from scratch. The flavors are out of this world. Such a delight! Even some of their drinks they make their own and it is refreshing

I love going to Borealis. The atmosphere is amazing with a great history (being an old school house) and the food never disappoints. Our server Heather was cheerful and made great recommendations on both wine and food. Overall a wonderful lunch or dinner spot- one of my favourites! Great food and great service! Our server Luigi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and really added to the whole experience. Food came out quick and just how we asked - especially when it came to making changes for some of the dishes. Thanks!

Always great service from all the employees from the moment I walk in the door. They truly make you feel like family. The food is also delicious!! My only complaint is that they don't sell their hot sauce by the bottle, it is honestly THE BEST hot sauce I've ever had.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We had their lunch. What brought us here was the vegetarian options they offered. Everyone was really impressed with how great all the food was. We got everything from the burger to the seafood bowl. The service was also great. I'm sure I'll back again
