St. Mary’s General Hospital

I was at the hospital about a week ago. surprisingly, it was very fast. except the waiting time for the x-ray, the whole process was very quick and took about 3.5 hours to check in, examine and so on (I was preparing to be in the hospital at least 7 hours). as I said the only down part was the x-ray that I was waiting for at least an hour. the crew were friendly. it was my first experience at St. Mary hospital.

I was recently rushed to St. Mary's from another hosp. due to an extreme emergency.
I was extremely well looked after in the ICU, [great , friendly and efficient nurses]
My problem was well diagnosed and treated by Doctors, then I was very well looked after by the nurses and staff.
I have nothing but very good comments about St. Mary's Doctors , Nurses and Staff, complaints, none what so ever
Thank You All who looked after me.

Compassionate, caring and efficient staff, there are wait times due to case severity of various patients, that's expected. The wait times in other hospitals can be over 10 hours. This hospital is really working hard at efficiency.

I really don't understand what people want ? We are lucky here in Ontario specifically and Canada in General to have public health system that is world class and better than most of the first world countries, including US. If you visit the Emergency, that does NOT mean you have an emergency problem. If you sit and wait, that is a good thing as this should reassure you that you are not sick. I have lots of medical problems and I have been to many hospitals and for so many different reasons, trust me, I hate it when I get rushed in and see the doctor immediately, because I know I"m very sick, if not dying ! SMG saved my life on several occasions, so please if you don't want to wait in ER because you have something else to do, you should not be there because you are not sick. Get things done, see your family doctor or go to a walk in clinic. I do that all the times
