I am retired now, but I worked in the trades for a local utility for almost 38 years, so suffice to say I know many , many electricians and I have seen more than my fair share of the consequences of unsafe electrical work.

Robert Pyc was recommended to me by a colleague that I know to have very high standards of workmanship. Even though I have never hired an electrician before (I usually do my own work), based on my coworkers glowing
recommendation, I decided to take a chance and hire Robert to upgrade my daughter and son-laws “fixer upper”. They had a lot of work to be done, a very tight timeline, and a 4 month old. I immediately felt that Robert not only understood, but more importantly, CARED that an unfinished house is not a safe place for a baby.

I cannot recommend Robert and the crew at RPYC Electrical highly enough!

Robert charges by the hour and they worked like a “dogs” even in extreme heat. I thought the hourly rate was fair and competitive. They showed up when they said would. Robert was easy to reach buy phone, text or email. Communication was a breeze.

He did beautiful work and I am fussy. He found creative solutions due to ageing and difficult to source parts. He was always clear about his reasons for a suggesting one solution over another. When he could, he suggested cost effective alternatives. Being able to offer several solutions in different price points speak to Robert’s knowledge and honesty. He had endless patience, even when we changed the location of lighting on serval occasions, and finally when our panel change necessitated an outage that effected a neighbour, he spoke to them, put them at ease and even arranged for a generator so they would not be inconvenienced!

But what impressed me the most about Robert, was his “heart”, it seems to me that Robert genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. Unfortunately, this seems to be a rare quality in this day and age.

I will say it again, I would not hesitate to highly recommend Robert and his crew at PYC Electrical LTD!

Rob Pyc and his team did a fantastic job installing our Generac Stand-by generator. Extremely pleased with how Rob organized all details for a timely installation. Generator operated seamlessly during 8-hour power outage yesterday! Knowledgeable and professional with great customer service, I would highly recommend PYC Electrical.
