Took a course here. Good place and very peaceful and quiet.
The food is great as well
I had an awesome time when I had stayed in the residence from the year of 2001 to 2002. They had been great to support and care for me when I was very sick. I won't forget the kindness that they had provided. I will definitely recommend students to stay in the residence. They will treat you with respect and love on every occasion. They are more likely my family. The meals were very fresh and tasty. I also want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to them for looking after me so well. They are always in my prayers. The best regards from Vincent.
Pro - All-Inclusive meal plans, utilities, fast Internet, rec rooms, very close to Waterloo Campus.
The meal plans are flexible, allowing bagged lunches and late dinners.
Con - Shared unisex bathrooms, small rooms
Showers / toilets are in stalls for privacy however, so this is nothing like high-school locker-rooms
Honestly, for the price you won't be much better off anywhere else in Waterloo, especially for University students. This is cheaper then any on-campus option and any savings you would make come at the cost of your time making your own meals. Not having to cook was a real life-saver for long nights before exams.
This was a clean, quiet space to live in for 1 week on campus. They offer meal plans too, or you can opt out. A great Rec room downstairs is available to use during your free time. I would definitely recommend staying here!
I lived at Resurrection for two years. I had an enjoyable time living there. I met people from various backgrounds, and made life long friends. The environment was conducive to studying but the many activities made it feel like 'home away from home.' The Director of Residence, and staff were helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that each resident was happy and safe. Having served as a Don for one year, I would encourage any student to live at Res! It truly was my home away from home!
