Great care and always smiling faces
This is a wonderful day care, with attentive, and caring staff. I have two boys that attended here. They attended the infant, toddler, and preschool classes. I have a son with special needs that just graduated his preschool program. The staff and his dedicated EA have been instrumental in helping him progress in his speech language, and physio therapy goals. My other son who doesn't have special needs loved to kiss and hug his teachers every day, since he really liked them.
My daughter attended WITDA from age 1 to 4.5 years old, progressing through the different rooms (infant, toddler and preschool). My daughter and I had nothing but great experiences there. I noticed an odd comment/review stating that their special needs child didn't have a dedicated caregiver. In my daughters preschool room, there was a special needs child with a dedicated caregiver and it has been that way for well over a year so I am confused by that review. My husband and I are so impressed with WITDA that we have signed our daughter up for their summer camp program and will be doing so for the next few years until she is too old to attend. I can confidently recommend this daycare for those who are looking child care.
Waterloo Infant and Toddler Daycare is our second home and the teachers are now members of our extended family. We have been at the Daycare for over 5 years and it has been a wonderful experience.
Administration is happy to dedicate time to discuss any unique questions or concerns you may have.
The food is great and provides such a balance for the kids. I have found that my picky eaters ate foods they don't normally because of the way it was prepared and the experience of eating it with their peers.
The teachers are loving and warm and put my mind at ease when I needed to be away from my children for work. They made the transition from maternity leave to work as seamless as possible and helped each of my children to integrate quickly.
The summer camp is phenomenal as well and provides a variety of activities and field trips that keep the summer interesting. The provided lunches are definitely a welcomed break from packed lunches too!
The only "problem" you will have with the Daycare is when it is time to say goodbye when your child graduates on to Kindergarten. This is definitely something I am dreading.
You will not be disappointed by Waterloo Infant and Daycare!
