There is apparently an ant infestation. To their credit management has been proactive with sending exterminators. I think if you keep your apartment relatively clean you can minimize coming into contact with them (I have not personally seen any since I moved in, and I keep the place pretty clean).

Neighbours and roommates can be loud sometimes. The walls are very thin.

Room was pretty dirty when I moved, with command strips still on the walls, and broken blinds. They ask you to do a move in report on an app that is terrible, constantly crashes (I had to fill it out ~3 times), and seemingly only lets you submit a single picture at one so make sure you take plenty of dates pictures in addition to filling this out when/if you move in.

Laundry is kind of expensive. They want you to buy a $10 card in addition to paying for each load.

Managers will enter your apartment with incorrect notice given which I find very frustrating. They’ll tell you they’re entering the apartment on a specific date and will show up several days later.

Personal ensuite washrooms are pretty great. They’re small but a huge plus when you are living with roommates.

Rooms come with double beds, desk, chair, night table, and decently sized closet. Bed is pretty high off the floor so you can use underneath for extra storage. There is also a pantry for each tenant in the kitchen. Kitchen is small but manageable. I would suggest getting a mini freezer because you will likely be struggling for fridge space with roommates.

Location is pretty good. Lots of nearby restaurants and amenities, and a ~30 minute walk (~10 minute bus drive) from campus. Bus stops are close by, too.

Underground parking is a huge plus.

There were internet issues when I moved in initially but they were great about fixing it. They were also really great about getting me a room; I had a very stressful search starting in May/June with not a lot of good options, and was able to get in here which I am super grateful for.

Overall not a bad experience.

Been challenging living here, maintenance request are slow to non existent. Rent prices are sky high with no recent updates to the building. Communicating with management next to none. At least it’s student friendly:) a home is a home! When moving in bring cleaning supplies+ ready to deep clean!

I highly recommend considering Bridgeport House as a place to stay. The rooms are a nice size, big windows with fantastic views, large common space area, the study room in the lobby is great for getting assignments done and relaxing with your friends, and the gym usually isn't busy.

Overall, my experience at Bridgeport House has been an enjoyable experience so far!

Good rooms and basic facilities. Some things aren’t setup yet though like there’s no buzzer code yet even though I’ve been living here for the past 6 months. The laundry was pretty bad but it’s improving gradually.

Great place for the price. Management is superb and go out of their way to help. The building has a gym and vending machines for basic necessities. Everyone on the front desk is always happy to help. Keep up the great work
