I'm a regular blood donor, and I've always had a positive experience at this clinic..... Love the staff!!!
If you choose to begin donating, be sure to drink LOTS of water before your donation (Canadian Blood Services recommends 500ml, or just over 2 cups)... And have a good meal in your belly before donating (donating on an empty stomach couple lead to dizziness or fainting). ????

This is the best service I have ever received. Everyone was over the top nice, funny, welcoming, reassuring and even though I fainted five of them were immediately at my side and didnt let me leave until they were sure I was okay. They all went above and beyond and I couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you to the staff for completely making my day :)

All the staff are absolutely wonderful. I've donated twice now and im going for my third today! Both times I've nearly passed out and the staff were very kind to me and made sure I was alright before leaving. I came in late after a time when they were closing soon and they still accepted me the second time, and they stayed after closing when I had a fainting spell and were very patient with me. All the staff at this clinic are absolute sweethearts. They are also very understanding of my ADHD/autism, and I appreciate them tolerating my tendency to talk a bit too much. If this is your first time donating, this is the clinic you want to visit! I would donate every day if I could just to see these lovely people.

Friendly and professional staff of nurses and volunteers.

If you've never been, they will walk you through the process - which is thorough and comforting. You can fill the questionnaire ahead of time or do it on site (I highly recommend completing it before getting there).

You'll be given a number and seated to read a pamphlet. A nurse will call your number; but make sure you read the pamphlet (mandatory). You will then be taken to one of the room for the blood pressure and hemoglobin tests to make sure you're eligible to donate.

You will then be escorted to the main area where your blood will be drawn. They will draw 1 unit of blood (1 pint) and then get you to the snacking station. A volunteer will be there to assist.

Overall, pretty smooth operation with friendly staff all around. Highly recommended.
