Warm atmosphere. Great taste food. It is my go to place in Waterloo region for Korean food.

i’m confused why this place doesn’t have a 4+ star rating. This is the only restaurant in 100km with decent fried chicken. The lady working at the front is adorable as well! Definitely recommended Sowon!

Amazing little hole in the wall. Was recommended to me by a friend for the korean fried chicken and it was tasty. Crispy, boneless pieces finished the way you like (sauced, with soy, green onions etc)

Been here a few times and always fresh and made to order. The service is good too.

I have been eating here for five years since my first year in university, when the place was still across UWP. To me, this place means more than a restaurant, it's full of memories. The couple is super nice and sincere each time I talk to them.
My favorite dish here is their sweet and sour fried chicken with everything right to the point, it is chewy and sweet without sticking onto the teeth either. I just tried ddeokbokki the other day, which is equally amazing.
I don't care if people think this place is "authentic" or not. I've tried enough restaurants from different cuisines, all I got to say is good food is good food.

Unlike other reviews, I ordered green onion fried chicken yesterday from ubereat. Their food taste good and the portion is huge! Foods are nicely packed and I can tell the owner really did listen to the previous reviews and worked on his products. Hope all of you can give this restaurant a try! I will definitely be back and come pick up by myself next time!
