The Ultimate Escape

It was good experience. I think it's pricy. It would be nice to charge $10 or $15/person or first person $30 and additional person $10 each.

Friendly staff. Very helpful. Interesting puzzles to solve. Great hints. Remember to use the hints and collaborate with your team members. Keep track of time as well. Really cool place to spend an hour with a group of friends. Didn't feel an hour go by so fast.

We completed the superhero themed challenge and it was really well thought out and fun! I would definitely come back sometime and try some other rooms.

Puzzles: 3/5
The puzzles felt quite repetitive. There were a few unique implementations I haven't seen in other rooms, but most of the time in the room is spent finding combinations for locks. Not too much originality

Theme/decor: 3/5
The theme felt veery 'cheesy' to me, which is not what I prefer in an escape room. Younger children may prefer it more than adults.

Layout: 2/5
There is a bit of 'discovery' involved, with a few new spaces opening as you progress through the room. It is however quite a small area, so this 'dividing up' of the room means larger groups could get a bit claustrophobic.

Customer Service: 4/5
Booking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hint system was not my favourite, but it worked well and was easy to use.

Overall: 3/5. If your group is quite young or quite new to escape rooms, you'll enjoy this one. If you have an advanced group looking for a serious challenge with a strong theme, look elsewhere.
