(January 19, 2019, 4:25 am)So, this is an excellent option if you want to live close to the school without the price of res.
The amenities are bad -- especially the toilets -- and hygiene can be a huge problem.
The staff are nice and it definitely beats those awful property management companies in the area.
Buy flipflops before you come here. You'll need 'em.
(September 23, 2016, 7:19 pm)Stayed here in the early '80s. Also known as "Hammar House". Great place for students to stay during their early years. Cozy rooms, 'common' room on each of the three floors. Close to campus, reasonable rates, interactive-social community and fun!
(June 19, 2016, 4:52 pm)Considering its distance to the university, I find Hammar really affordable and fun to live at, especially when you have a few floormates who like to socialize and bond in the common area (kitchen). It's the community here that could make your stay awesome.
