I learned so much about myself through the Bloom to Thrive Program and essentially how restricted my eating habits were. It is amazing how the media, society, and family can impact one's self image! Through this program I have learned to heal myself from dieting and appreciate my body! Heather helped re-define what "healthy" is and how many factors play into weight loss. Adequate sleep, calories, micro and macronutrients, journaling, movement , and stress reduction all contribute to healthy weight loss . Heather has an excellent way of approaching weight loss. Her program is very flexible and she is very supportive and understanding of her client's backgrounds. Her emphasis on that "there is no ideal weight for anyone" really opened my eyes as to what I have been struggling with all these years. I am very grateful for the Bloom to Thrive program and will continue to eat healthy and treat my body well!
