We originally booked with Gary back in 2020 for our wedding. Covid hit and long story short we were able to get married until Sept 2022. Gary stuck with us every step of the way! He is amazing to work with and takes some epic and outstanding photos! He is so fun to work with, and his attention to detail is next to none. He is simply the best, as he’s shown by being voted #1 in Canada! Thanks Gary!

We hired Gary and Kim as our wedding photographers and we are so glad we did! We absolutely loved our engagement photos and wedding photos and the experience of going to the studio to view our photos was so special. On our wedding day, Gary and Kim were super helpful and calming throughout the whole day and were very diligent about sticking to the schedule and shot list that we discussed before the wedding day. Also, we ordered an album of our engagement photos to use as our wedding guestbook and the quality was amazing! We would definitely recommend Gary and Kim as wedding photographers!

I would highly recommend Gary & Kim Evans. They are both funny, daring, creative people. Gary and Kim were the only people who provided me with genuine reassurance on my wedding day. Both Kim and Gary work hard, and don't stop until they have the perfect shot. When there was a problem they picked up the phone and called me with solutions ready at hand. They answer emails and questions quickly usually within hours or 24 hours. They are flexible and were able to work with me and my budget. They returned the photos back quickly and they don't disappoint. The hardest choice you will make with them is choosing which photo you love the most. I cant wait to use them again in the future.

We initially met Gary at a Weddingring show in Cambridge! We found him to be very personable and his work outstanding. At the time he had recently done a winter wedding at Whistle Bear, so this intrigued us. After booking a meeting to sit down and talk about what Gary could offer, like Whistle Bear, we were instantly sold. After meeting up with Gary to do our engagement photos, we were so pleased to be working with him, and this was before we got any of our photos back! We really wanted to work with someone who was laid back but at the same time could give us direction to get the perfect shot. He kept awkward kissy photos less awkward with his added humor and kept our spirits strong when the snow began to fall and we couldn’t feel our fingers and toes. In the end he produced the best work and we can’t say for certain how many compliments we’ve received about our photos. He has new, fun and different ideas that set one couples photos apart from another. Our favorite part of our photos was when we stopped in front of my (the bride’s father’s) business to get a couple photos of us with the sign in the background. We literally stopped traffic to stand in the middle of the street, and remained there until Gary got the perfect shot. This is what is so great about him because he is determined, unconventional and so very talented, and this allows him to produce such great work.

When we started to look for a wedding photographer, we discovered just how many photographers were out there to choose from - all with the same beautiful pictures. We were referred to Gary through friends who also work in the wedding industry business. One look at his portfolio and we knew he was the right fit for us. We felt his pictures were a step above everything else we had seen for wedding photography. His use of nature backgrounds, lights with coloured gels, graffiti etc. really gave his work a creative edge that appealed to us.
We went to meet him a Cambridge wedding show, and from the first meeting to the last exchange of our beautiful pictures, Gary was a class act to deal with. He helped us plan out our whole day, braved an extreme thunderstorm warning to do our engagement shoot (which you would never have guessed by our pictures – it looks like it was a beautiful sunny day), and came out to thoroughly scout our location as he had never shot there before. And by scouting, I mean trancing around in the mud/bushes of a damp golf course grounds in October, with his compass, looking for the best shots.
Day of, he was an absolute pleasure to have with us. Both of our families were incredibly impressed with him - his professional and friendly demeanor, and the quality of his equipment.
Not only did he keep us on track to our schedule, but also helped calm nerves when we ran a little behind. We shared lots of laughs that day, and he truly made us feel comfortable with being in front of the camera for so long. Our pictures are positively gorgeous - not only the ones of us, but also the candid moments he captured of our guests are amazing memories that we will keep forever.
Hire Gary, I cannot express that enough. His talent is absolutely worth the investment and you will not be disappointed.
