Sight and Sound Studios

My 8-year old daughter and I have been taking guitar lessons at Sight and Sound Studios for just about a year now, and it has been a great experience! Mike is very personable and patient, which makes lessons enjoyable for all. Our daughter is very enthusiastic and loves coming to lessons each week! For me, it has been valuable learning various aspects of guitar, as well as learning songs I am interested in learning to play. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to take lessons!

We don't (yet) have any experience with the 'Sight' part of the studios, but hope to enroll the kids in some art classes soon!

Both my two sons and now myself are taking guitar with Mike. He is very patient and works to teach each student at our own pace. He is very knowledgeable and clearly has his own passion for music which shows through his teaching. He has shown the utmost patience when teaching both my sons with adhd. I would recommend Mike to anyone. Diana runs some amazing art programs and is very talented. We have done photography summer camp with her and she again has a passion for the arts and is amazing and patient with the kids. We would recommend this studio to anyone!

Mr. Erb teaches guitar to our 13 year old daughter. We have been going to Sight & Sound Studios for almost a year and either our daughter is gifted in picking up songs so fast or Mr. Erb is an Amazing teacher - we like to think it is a combination of the two!

We 100% recommend Mr. Erb as a music teacher and the reason we continue to go to him is because he relates to all of his students. He listens to the types of songs my daughter wants to learn and as simple as that he teaches them to her, she has learned over 30+ songs in just under a year. You can tell Mr. Erb truly loves his job, and wants to see his students enjoy the learning process and this was evident in the Spring Concert where all the kids had fun performing for their family and it was a relaxed and fun time! We are so lucky to have found a teacher that is somewhat a kid a heart himself, and that can relate to his students. Mike and Diana are exceptional teachers! They have depth and breadth in their respective artistic expertise. As a teacher myself, it is wonderful to experience another individual empowering my children. Mike and Diana are patient, kind, encouraging and flexible. They work diligently to tailor lessons to the needs of each student. I highly recommend this studio and it is well worth the drive from Waterloo. I do it twice a week with pleasure.
