Delightful Dogs

Sylvia is such a passionate and patient trainer. She really knows her stuff and continues during and after the sessions are completed to ensure you have all the information you need. I emailed her about an issue i was having with my beagle after the classes (if you're a beagle owner you know) and she responded with so much information, links to reputable articles, videos and references and was genuinely trying to help us with our issue.

The classes themselves (Level One Adult) were very informative and set up your dog for success from the start. You're also left with a VERY handy manual afterwards (to reference anything from digging, barking, time outs etc and all backed up with articles) During the courses you are given commands/maneuvers to practice during class, but you really have to commit to taking it home and working on it with them.

We're VERY happy with our beagles training. He isn't an angel yet (Syliva can't fix all your problems) but she gives you the tools you need to take home for the duration your dog needs to click and understand it.

Plus he beat the odds, and graduated! (He may have also enjoyed all the snacks that came with it)

We have only gone for one class so far, but it was fantastic. Sylvia genuinely cares for the dogs, as well as their owners. She is very thorough in explaining the reasons for her methods, as well as offering great suggestions and troubleshooting ideas. Great value as well.

Knowledgeable, dedicated and committed to her clients. Sylvia is always available to answer training and behaviour questions. Her facility is perfect. only minutes from Waterloo. I will always trust her kind and non-aggressive training methods.

Sylvia is amazing! This is my second time completing dog training with her. My first dog didn't have any training when we got her. She was 10 months old and Sylvia really taught me and my family the tools for us to train with to have a wonderful dog. This is the reason we went back with our puppy. She believes in teaching the dog what we want them to do with positive reinforcement. We as owners need to teach our dogs the behaviour we want with rewards, love and encouragement NOT with punishment. She is amazing with rescues and is a true animal lover.

We took our puppy Millie to level one training not knowing what to expect and were absolutely blown away but how much knowledge Sylvia has. She teaches owners how to train their dogs in a humane and effective manner. I have to say that puppy school was my absolute favorite part of the week for the 6 weeks of the program. The only complaint I could possibly have was that I got jealous about how much my puppy absolutely loved Sylvia. But seriously, this is a wonderful place run by great people.
