We have worked with Conestogo Carpenters to undertake renovations of two historic homes over the past five years as well as to build a large number of barns, storage facilities and garages. The heritage home renovations were challenging, given our goal to retain as much of the historic value and original building materials as possible. Conestogo Carpenters not only understood and shared our vision of how to simultaneously restore and renovate these homes to bring them into the 21st century, but also had the unique expertise, and know-how to address the complex traditional building techniques required by these renovations. We could not be happier with the design, high calibre of workmanship, and state of the art innovations that were incorporated into these renovations. My wife and I had Conestoga build a new home for us in 2019, and they did an excellent job. Right from beginning to end it was a very positive experience for us. I am in the design & construction industry myself, and we have built a home previous to this one so we knew a little bit about what to expect. Conestoga exceeded our expectations and we will have them quote on finishing our basement in the next couple years.

Over the last couple of years we've been through 2 MAJOR renovations at our farm. From the very first time we met our site manager, the detailed drawings done to completion. Our experience was second to none. The follow up was incredible and if there was ever something not done to our satisfaction, you came back with no resistance. We were first introduced to Conestogo Carpenters in Parry Sound in the summer of 2016 when we were eating at Pizza Hut. Their truck came into the parking lot and we noticed the name, which along with the 519 telephone number told us they were from the K-W area. The three young men who came into the restaurant were clean-cut and mild mannered and we introduced ourselves. We learned that they were working on a new cottage/house build 40 minutes northeast of Parry Sound. They invited us to come out and see the project, which we did a few days later.
We had had a building lot in Linwood since 2003 and were considering finally building on the site. After speaking with the men and looking at the project they were completing we contacted Ralph at the office in St. Jacobs and over a number of weeks worked with Jeremy to develop a final plan which they built for us starting in September 2016.
The process went very well. All of the staff were a pleasure to work with. Jeremy had design ideas that meshed well with our thoughts and the men on site were always hard working, polite and conscientious.
