Quaint town with lots of great trails

Peaceful place all year round.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning natural landscape. Feels like your somewhere completely different. Truly a hidden Wellington County gem. Highly recommend going for walking, jogging, hiking , biking, or just spending time with the family.

Love this place. Just an all around pleasant vibe. I was really lucky to get a good hike in here with an Uncle, forgot how rustic the trail gets in some places. In a good way. The footing sometimes gets a bit much for older folk, but the pay off for taking our time and taking it all in is worth the effort.

We went to Elora on a cold sunny day in January. The walk to the lookout through untouched snow was amazing and lent itself to some beautiful photography. I'd like to believe that the gorge looks better in winter than in spring or summer. Parking was easy to get being winter and I'm not sure how it is in the summer months. All in, we had a great time and would visit again.
