Ordered two 2020 bunkie lofts and 1 summer cabin. Everything was as explained.

The best part about our experience with you guys was the absolutely flawless customer support. That and the yard guy Ron was very skilled and helpful with loading our trailer!

We purchased a 2019 Bunkie with loft this spring. The company is extremely organized a provided great communication. The kit was complete, delivered where and when we wanted. The instructions were very detailed and building it was a breeze. We are very happy with the final product

Needing some additional space at our cottage, we started looking more seriously at bunkie "kits" several months ago as a possible option after entering a Bunkie Life contest earlier this year. We decided to join in on a LIVE "Ask Me Anything" evening held earlier last month that Bunkie Life was hosting which turned out to be really great and quite informative. With a number of our questions now answered we started to narrow in on possible models that might suit our application and so decided to book in-person tour as several of the models of interest are available to tour as they're set up as Air BnB's. (we were not aware that the models were being used as Air BnB's until we were at the location) We booked a time slot and drove over 1.5 hours to the display location only to be kept waiting for 20 minutes or so while the person handling the tours that day was still busy with other "clients". We were told he'd only be a few minutes so decided to take a look at the first building on the tour ourselves.
We were interested primarily in the 2020 Bunkie with Loft which just happened to be the first bunkie available on the tour. We were somewhat surprised however by the use of single pane windows, lower quality window/door hardware as well as the fit and finish of the underside of the overhang. We mentioned this to our tour guide once we finally got to meet with him and were surprised to be told that what we had been looking at was a "pre-production" model and that the windows are in fact double pane, the hardware used is now different and the finished underside of the overhang is not included in the kit!
The rest of the tour was good such that we were able to see other possibilities and layouts that might work for us. Additionally, we saw just how well Sansin stains stand up to the elements - which was important to us as we were considering the use of Sansin to re-stain our cottage at the same time as putting up a bunkie.
It's quite unfortunate that our appointment time wasn't respected and that we were kept waiting as long as we were as this certainly got us off to a less than ideal start. Similarly, we were quite confused as to why the company would display something that isn't representative of what potential buyers are actually buying.
Initially, this "3 star" rating was posted without any comments/details - and so, this review has since been updated to provide that along with further explanation as to why this rating was given. This updated review also comes after having received a call from the owner asking for further clarification on the low rating and being advised that it would be much appreciated if the rating were removed.

Ordered a 2019 model kit in the year of covid 2020.. and I've loved everything about the company from start to finish. Starting with the tour to final purchase to building to ordering extra special add ons... highly recommend buying from David and this wonderful company.

Love, love it! And, the family loves it too. It was built in two days by an expert crew of three, a few weeks ago. Daughter’s family moved in immediately after the crew left and a couple of weekends afterward. There has been a revolving door of family use including one week as an office and sleeping quarter by another daughter. We just had our first overnight stay in it…glamping at its best. Since it overlooks the ravine at the back of our property it feels like we’ve escaped to a cabin up north. Great product, great outcome, great investment for family!
