Clean, totally organized barn with excellent care for the horses. Instructors are top notch. Amazing place to learn and keep your horse.
One of the best facilities in the area. If you love ponies then this is the place for you!
Kirsten breeds and trains some of the best ponies in the region. Her coaches are excellent. Her facility is perfectly designed for horses. Lovely large sand ring and large indoor arena. Lots of places around the property to ride. On a quiet, safe, dirt road you can ride on. The big summer field is amazing and really lets horses be horses. I have so much respect for Kirsten and I know this is a shared sentiment in the local horse community.
If you have a child that wants to ride, Beaverwood is the place for you. Their ponies really do bring smiles. :)
I ride a horse that is boarded here and my coach is not affiliated with the facility. The owner, Kirsten, runs a tight ship and I believe that is the source of her success. The facility is well put together, clean and tidy and the places you can ride outside of an area are many and excellent. In terms of the care of the horses, I can't say specially but from what I can see, it is well worth the fees. In the summers many of the horses get the opportunity to spend their time in a large field grazing. That can be a pain when you have to go find them in a huge paddock but they seem so much happier.
Would happily consider boarding my horse here if I was looking. Can't speak for the lessons or ponies as I have no experience with those aspects.
Brought my daughter here, and Lindsay was amazing with her! she took the time to explain what they were doing, and was super patient! would recommend for anyone looking to get into riding!
