Had a date night here a couple of weeks ago. There was 80's music blaring so loud that it was difficult to carry on a conversation. The staff were very friendly on the way in, but fairly inattentive. I felt very rushed to order, and then no-one checked on us until we were completely done eating. Both of our drinks remained empty for more than half of our meal. Food was pretty good typical pub food.
Food was all fresh tasting and delicious! Portion sizes were good, desserts appropriately polite at a good meal (and are priced appropriately). Our server, Colin, was very attentive to our big group. Really nice spot.
Borealis sources almost everything from nearby producers, which they profile in their menus and signage. The freshness shines through in the food. Nice ambiance (although a little crowded) on the restaurant side. Service is always great. The all-Niagara wine list could be a big stronger. Overall recommended. Their focus on local ingredients definitely has an impact on their food - and delicious is the outcome :). A great family friendly restaurant with good food and beer selection. Can’t go wrong
I went to the Borealis pub and grill for a lovely dinner with my mother and wife. The food was fantastic. They had a wide array of food selections everything from Elk to duck confit just about everything you could ask for. The staff was also quite friendly and very helpful in choosing the appropriate meal to go with the mood of the day.
The appetizers were very good as well we tried the sausage Bowl as well as the sweet potatoes and onion dip.
I also appreciated the fact they also had a good selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
I tried to the Arnold Palmer, it was delicious for non-alcoholic beverage.
