Norfolk Manor Inc

I have been volunteering here for 12 years and when my father needed a place to go for respite he went to stay at Norfolk. My father couldn't believe that he would be treated with such empathy and respect and really praised the staff and care he received there. He also said the food was delicious and every time I go in I can smell the wonderful smells coming out of the kitchen. David, Lisa and Dawn as well as the rest of the staff are wonderful with the residents and their care is the top priority. I have enjoyed my time here helping with the many activities that are offered.

Our mom has been living in Norfolk for about 3 years to this review. David, Lisa and the staff are most dedicated. They just got through a Covid outbreak in the home. With good leadership, staff care dedication and hard work they brought the home carefully to the negative with no further cases. They continue to carefully ensure the environment and the residents remain healthy. If family caregivers have any concerns or questions Norfolk ensures action is taken and questions are answered. They treat and care for our mom where the family feel confident that this is a good fit.

When it was realized my oldest sibling required assistance following his stroke, many family members were thankful Norfolk Manor agreed to welcome him. We see he has accepted his new home and he enjoys the good homemade meals. He’s familiar with Guelph and enjoys time outside. He enjoys entertainment, music and conversation.
David, Lisa and the Norfolk staff want the residents to feel comfortable and cared for. Thank-you!

It has been almost 4 years since we moved my mother to Norfolk Manor and everyone involved could not be happier. The care, compassion and attention to detail that David and his staff have afforded to Mom during her time their is impressive. Mom is treated like a family member and she has a perpetual smile on her face because of it. The excellent meals provided by Tammy and her staff, the care from Tawnya and Sheila is wonderful and Dawn's regiment of fun activities make sure that every resident is active, stimulated and cared for. It is one of the best decisions that I ever made for my Mother.

My mother adores the Norfolk Manor and especially its kind and super wonderful staff! Being a family run "home" makes it truly HOME to all of our valuable family members ... my mother deserves the very best and we picked the best!! Thank you STAFF and David/LIsa/Victoria ... DAWN
