Guelph Minor Baseball

I love the negative reviews by people below. All minor sports associates have flaws of some kind. There are a lot of great people involved in GMBA that volunteer their time to make sure that kids have somewhere to play baseball. My two boys have been involved at the rep level for 6 years now. The reviewers below that comment that kids are picked for rep based on relationships and not on ability/skill are false. Unfortunately those kids that don’t make rep are not good enough even though their parents believe they are. Don’t let your kid get discouraged by not making the rep team. Work hard with your kids, put in the extra work and come back the following year and have the kid do their best. Don’t totally rely on the coaches during practice/games to make your kids better. It takes a lot of extra effort as a parent to do extra work to make them better and have fun doing it. If you have a child looking to get into baseball GMBA will be a good experience for them.

The league is well-organized and the coaches make the games fun while teaching the fundamentals of the game. The schedule can get a bit intense during the summer but if you plan around it you and your children will have a great experience!
