I've been a tenant of John's for almost five years and he has been wonderful, professional and helpful and when I recently learned I had to move, he tried to help me out by finding another apartment for me.

My family and I traveled to China to live and work for 2 years. We were worried about how to keep our house, maintain it, even rent it out, then come back to it when our 2 year contract was over. Enter John of JMC Property Management, he put our worries to rest. He didn't make it easy on us though, we had to conform to some strict guide lines about sprucing the place up, but it made sense and we did it and it worked. He was very thorough on our end with contracts and such, and on his end the showing of potential tenants for our house.
We didn't get a chance to see who rented our place because we had to leave, and just trust JMC would represent us well from the other side of the world. And he did. He even contacted us to check to see if we would have a problem if the family who would like to rent our place could have a cat. And we said okay.... Very thorough.
I have to say I saw the other negative reviews on the google site and can't understand. I don't pretend to know about their situation(s), but it is hard to believe they are writing about the same company, the same man who took care of our house for us. All through our old appliances needing repairs or replacement, to the always on time rent deposits into our account, even to the occasional "How are ya"? letter from Canada to let us know we're being taken care of... I have to say it was all worth it and we will do it all again if we head back to the Middle Kingdom.
My name is Hector Rombola, I live away in another city, and this company has managed my property in Guelph for over three years. During this time, the property has always been rented with very good tenants. The credit checks that JMC Property Management carries out on prospective tenant has always proven to be professionally responsible; in summary, the rent has never been late, NSF or other typical landlord nightmares. The rent cheque gets conveniently and directly deposited in my bank account once it clears. When a tenant leaves, I receive a list of suggestions for improvements/repairs so I know what to address to keep up with the house value and rentability. I always receive excellent advise on preserving my asset, landlord/tenant relationship and, upon request, valuable resources/contacts. The contact person in the company is always available to address my issues or concerns, he takes the time to bring and discuss options and I feel that he knows my property. I often receive emails to keep me up to date with by-laws affecting my property. I am presently considering acquire more property in Guelph because I know that I have a property management company I can rely on.
