My husband and I have managed our own rental properties for over 20 years, by ourselves. We thought about hiring a management company over the years but assumed we couldn't afford it and we were afraid the customer service we prided ourselves on would change, so we never pursued it; until last year. 11 months ago we hired Lighthouse Management to oversee a 6-plex we own in Guelph and we couldn't be happier. In fact, within a month of working with Lighthouse, I said to my husband, "why didn't we do this sooner???" We interviewed a few management companies before making our decision. We decided to hire Lighthouse because Sean was so professional, responsive and understanding. Moreover, his company offered the most flexible option with respect to rent collection and invoicing.
