A friend of mine recommended Allison to me after I complained about having issues with stiff shoulders and leg pain. I noticed a change after the first couple of treatments. I feel much better and my range of motion has improved immensely. I consider my acupuncture appointments to be essential to my over-all health and well-being and Allison is always making sure that she is treating any muscle or joint issues I may be experiencing. I found Dr. Zhou to be an excellent practitioner and healer. I went to her seeking treatment for skin breakouts and back pain, as well as general hormone balancing. I have now seen her for 8 sessions, and have experienced notable improvement on all of the intended areas, as well as sone unexpected good results as well! For my back, Dr. Zhou used cupping massage and acupuncture (with the electric pulses), and after only a few treatments, noticed an increase in range of motion (which also made my Chiropractic adjustment more productive), and a decrease in discomfort. To address skin inflammation, we used herbal cleansing herbs and acupuncture, again leading to a noticeable improvement. The unexpected surprise was that my last two periods have been completely cramp free as a result of both muscle treatment ad hormone balancing through acupuncture!

As I have said, I have been very happy with my treatments here, but I was also very impressed with Dr. Zhou's professionalism and character throughout. She is interested, kind, and attentive, simply focusing on addressing the concerns raised in a positive and professional way, not presenting her treatments in the context of illnesses preventable by her services (as I have found many practitioners do), but rather creating and maintaining a positive and encouraging approach. All around I found her to be proficient, kind, and professional, and have recommended her to other family members who are interested! Alison displays great enthusiasm for her work as a R.TCM Practitioner , R. Acupuncturist. She has been ever so helpful in fixing my shoulder . Before treatment I was in constant throbbing pain , any movement would aggravate it more, movements like putting on my seatbelt , or washing my hair. This went on for months, tried physio, then an osteopath for several months , no relieve... Then meet Alison, after two weeks of treatments the pain finally subsided. With a few minor flare ups in the following weeks ,now the pain is gone. My sleep has improved and my overall well being is 100% better. We are now working on strengthening my inner organs .I feel better with each new day.
