Beautiful old hotel with a excellent dining menu and bar. They have a $5.00 burger and fry night that is out of this world! The burger is upscale and rates with the best! And they top this whole experience off with a wonderful staff!!

Good atmosphere, great patio, great location, food is always delicious but their portion sizes for the sandwiches are not generous, neither are the portion sizes for apps (if you're sharing, especially between more than two). Red sangria is God awful. Not sure if it was just a bad batch but it was overwhelmed by bitter old citrus and desperately needed simple syrup. Also tasted watered down. Sangria is so so easy to make- what a fail.

Just a wonderful historic pub..a gem of Guelph for sure! Apparently haunted too...have yet to go to an event upstairs but the dining areas are cozy and comfortable. Food is decent too..only downside is the wine by the glass is very expensive and there are not many local craft beers on tap. But if you like regular domestic beer, you would be disappointed.

Extremely busy but worth the wait. Enjoyed the crab cake sandwich. Perfect mixture of tastes and really stood out on the menu. Very cozy atmosphere. Great place to have a small gathering in the downstairs part. Would recommend if you’re getting apps or have a smaller group.
