This place is great.

I've used the dragon every once in awhile to pick up a comic or 2 during sales or free comic book days since I was a Child. Sometimes I'd sit and watch Warhammer. Since Quarantine I found a new Love for Comics and these guys became my One Stop shop. Having trouble? They can find it fast. Need it ordered in? They will do their best to figure it out for you and get it in your hands ASAP. Service with a smile and a good laugh, the service staff have always been amazing since I was a kid. Not to mention just the crowd that hangs around, like a good community everyone's open to help and talk about whatever you need. I've even ended up picking up a couple recommendations from fellow customers that have become favourites. If your a Comic Head in Guelph I highly suggest one of The Dragon locations. Support Local Heros!!

A fun place that is part comic shop, game store, meeting place, gaming space and more. The downtown Guelph location is in a mall that is serviced by public transit and is accessible. There are cards, collectibles, neat gift ideas, the occasional free giveaway and a community of people who are friendly and knowledgeable and approachable - I dare say that there is a community feeling.
The retailer can order games and items, and staff are interested in being helpful and available. They will even source an answer for you if they don't have one, themselves.
You'll have to check gaming times online - not sure when card games run, and I thought I heard that they have an open gaming time on Sundays, where people can learn and try games.
Worth checking out.

Spent the day toodling around downtown Guelph and The Dragon was easily the best experience of the day. Fantastic customer service from a very knowledgeable staff. The kids section is the best I've seen and the sales associate had lots of great recommendations. The store has an incredible selection of graphic novels and a smaller area of individual issues. In addition there are board games, magic the gathering stuff, figurines, collectables, tshirts & novelty items and some toys.
