Oh my goodness! Amazing bison meat! So flavorful, the owner was so helpful on how to prepare and cook our purchases. This is a fantastic butcher shop with great selection and true passion.
Black Powder Bison - Grass fed from Elora available at Trotters Butcher Shop and Charcuterie 42 Cork Street Guelph, GET IN HERE! There are a ton of other items here that you will want for your next meal. 2 striploins, 1 bison steak, and 2 Chorizio Sausages... $60.. these ingredients would make 3 high end full gourmet meals for 2.. whereas you could go to a restaurant for 2 for 1 meal.. and spend $80.00 there is a lot to be said about cooking at home..

Great quality local products, fantastic staff, convenient location. They have a nice selection of meats the usual pork and beef, but also Bison and Lamb. We order a rabbit for Easter dinner, picked up some great charcuterie while we were in.

Every time I go in, I find something amazing to cook. And they can get requests! Definitely worth it.

Did the Butcher class a while ago with my family and it was a great experience! It was educational, fun and a great night out. Would recommend for anyone wanting to support local food!
