When we were stressed beyond any level we’ve ever been, you managed to work so well, with a positive attitude and a reassuring nature, to get my mother’s move complete. Staying the extra few hours at a moment’s notice was also something you did that helped us so much. It takes a special kind of person to do what you do, and you do it well. We had to clear out the contents of my parents’ house that had important paperwork going back to the 50’s. Wendy worked carefully with us as we sifted through possessions and memories. Wendy was very clear about her process of reusing and recycling whatever materials the family did not want. She worked cooperatively with other professionals that were preparing the house for sale. Wendy and the businesses she engaged to take possessions out of the house were respectful of ensuring there was no damage to the property. It was an enormous physical and emotional task for my family to clear the house in a short period of time. We were very grateful to have Wendy guide us in this process and to have her positive energy keep our momentum going.

Wendy was extremely knowledgeable and professional in helping us deal with the contents of my mother's home in preparing it for sale. Her broad skillset, wide range of contacts and efficient execution of plans made the whole process flow well. Initially we were intimidated by the process of preparing this large home for sale. After meeting with Wendy, we developed a plan where we knew what we could do ourselves, and what we could leave to SWOT. And when surprise events forced a sudden change of plans (my twice cancelled knee surgery was scheduled), Wendy was able to pivot and come up with plan B. We could not have done this without the wonderful services of SWOT.

Wendy is very knowledgable as to where to take different types of items to be upcycled.

Wendy helped me get my Moms place sorted, after we got her moved.
She dealt with the auctioneer, sorted out what was to be donated, and organized the balance for garbage removal.
She arranged it to be cleaned and ready for being put up for sale/coordinating with the realtor. Super helpful, since my Mom had moved to Mississauga, and I had to return to B.C.
It was “love at first sight” Lol.
Wendy answered all of our questions, and put my 95 year old Moms worries to rest. She had no problem giving the keys to Wendy, which shows how trustworthy she is. And….she totally rearranged her schedule to help us out, since we were on a tight schedule.
