(July 11, 2020, 2:55 am)This is a hidden gem in Ontario. I accidentally found this place online and decided to visit it right away. There were lots of donkeys & mule and they were cute & friendly! The place was clean and not a lot of visitors, which I like.I got to learn a few things about donkey. The do also have a small gift shop and I bought my daughter a cute donkey stuffed animal, she loves it.

(December 1, 2019, 1:10 pm)I highly recommend visiting the donkey sanctuary, read the website for all relevant information prior to visit. I have been visiting the Donkey Sanctuary for over 5 years, I began volunteering 1 year ago. When you are a volunteer you are able to get more direct contact with the donkeys such as hugs and full grooming so if that interests you I highly recommend inquiring about their volunteer program! The experience you get when being around the donkeys whether as a guest or a volunteer is something i will take with me the rest of my life. This is magical place with a great group of staff and volunteers, don't wait check out their website today!
