(April 5, 2019, 2:29 pm)Very cosy and comfortable restaurant. Had my rehearsal dinner here and it was fantastic. Food was delicious, service was great and the room was atmospheric. My mother, who is quite picky when it comes to restaurants and is a prescatarian (no meat but does eat seafood and dairy and eggs) absolutely loved the food! It's definitely a hidden gem!
(January 3, 2019, 2:49 pm)Highly recommended. Kristine and the team did a wonderful job when we had 20+ people there to celebrate my mother's birthday. Food was great, staff were attentive and organized.
(December 28, 2018, 1:22 pm)This place hosted the Puslinch Optimist Club for Christmas dinner, and I must say it was amazing! The atmosphere was so nice, the restaurant is freshly painted and updated, and the service was top notch! You did not go home hungry after eating here!
(December 2, 2018, 5:37 pm)Nice selection of smorrebrod open-face sandwiches. Could get pricier than expected as each sandwich is about $6 and each person can probably eat 4-5.
Plus, their desserts are good. The meringue cake is a must try, though a tad sweet.
Service is nice, but a bit slow.
Recommend a try if in the area. Worth a drive from Toronto if you're looking for something different to eat.
Recently changed owners, but glad to know that the food quality and service are the same. I think the new owners are from the same family so the food tastes the same.
(October 29, 2018, 12:32 am)Great service, great atmosphere, and most importantly great schnitzel! My wife and I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. A very nice, hidden gem in the countryside, but still an easy drive from Hamilton
