Nice little area. The trail is not very long.
The Vance Tract is a very nice hiking area, relatively un-documented, likely because the (2) areas permit hunting in them during part of the year. There are two different areas with the same name, both entrances have enough parking for about two vehicles but it is tight. There may be a trail which links the two areas, but it is not overly worked in. Both area's trails are about 1-3 km in length and do a full loop. The second area has some offshoot unofficial trails too. I hiked the area on the second week of May and saw a huge number of snakes along the path, so if you have a fear of snakes, this may not be the path for you. Otherwise check the spot out.
