My favorite place for short hike in Markham! I love the pond and the small river coming out of it. The place is well taken care of, very quiet and peaceful. I have seen different stages of the pond freezing which was totally facinacitaing for me. The only thing I dislike about this place is that people often unleashed their dogs which make me greatly uncomfortable when dogs come near me. Unfortunately, the is no sign to prohibited unleashing dogs and people don't really under stand Zoophobia. I do tell them please keep your pet away from me and the response is usually he is friendly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like who the hell asked about your pet characteristics? I think this is great disrespection.
