  Pretty much the only place in Markham to get high quality art supplies. They have a great selection, but some things that you can get at a dollar store or Walmart instead that doesn't require high quality, I suggest getting it there instead. An employee named Jon was super helpful, he was able to show me around while the store was less busy.

  Made sure to call in the morning to check for stock. Best staff I've met. Even though it was less than 10 minutes left to closing, the staff were super helpful in finding all the materials I needed and even had a lot of recommendations on what they had to offer. Couldn't have asked for more! Definitely coming back for more supplies. ♥️

  As a Working Artist and Visual Arts Instructor, I find the Markham Curry’s very convenient. Being a visual person, it is important for me to see, and feel, new products rather than ordering online. The staff are friendly and very helpful when looking for specific supplies or providing information on these new products. My students know, when they take their supply lists into the store, the staff will ensure they have what is required. Thank you. Judith L.

  We went there to surprise our daughter with a new art set and material. The staff was very helpful and kind. Not only did they give us suggestions on what brand and quality would fit our daughter's needs, they also let us know which ones offer the best value. Their pricing was very competitive even though they are brand new and at an expensive location. We will come back again when we need more art supplies and will recommend it to others for sure. Remember to bring your student card for 10% discount as well. Happy shopping and may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all!

  Great choice of artist materials for everything from oils to pencil and the paper/canvas to go with them. Beginner and artist quality materials can both be purchased. However, staff are usually surely and can be rude. If you are not a professional artist then you have a 1 in 3 visits chance of being mocked.
  Prices are generally good, except for things like paint thinner, or very general hardware store supplies, that are less expensive at a hardware store.
  They sell a huge variety of moleskin books. Hardbound notebooks/sketching books can also be found at great prices.
