(June 17, 2017, 3:58 pm)As a student here for 10 years and a recent Math program completer, I can truly say that Kumon has really helped me succeed in not only my Math skills, but my independent learning skills. Mr. Lu really cares about the success and the positive growth of his students, and this determination and passion can also be found with the employees. Kumon Unionville has created a fantastic learning environment that sets children up to really succeed in both the Math and Reading programs. Kumon really has defined and refined my learning techniques and my working ethics while teaching me about important math concepts that I will use for the rest of my life. This is one of the best programs to enroll your children in if you want them to become smarter in math/reading while learning important life skills that they will be thankful for in the future.

(June 15, 2017, 7:09 pm)Since I was a student here, this centre has experienced significant growth due to excellent management. The friendly administrative staff create a welcoming environment for family/guardians of current students as well as newcomers. Simulating the ideal classroom, the centre is kept clean, organized, and quiet. Moreover, the centre director always acts in the best interest of his students and genuinely wants to help them succeed. A lot of emphasis is placed on the individuality of the Kumon program. The director respects the unique needs of every student and practices transparency by maintaining a constant line of communication with parents/guardians. For example, before I had graduated the Kumon math program, the director was very flexible with my learning plan, accelerating and decelerating my progress to complement my heavy school workload. The knowledge and study habits I gained here have helped me immensely throughout high school and especially now as a health sciences student at McMaster University. I would highly recommend the math or reading program here for students of all ages.

(December 20, 2016, 11:00 pm)I think personally as a student, this extra tutoring system is well in upgrading the academic grade for some and filling in some parts that students may have missed from the school year. The down side is that children are not to widely happy to go to Kumon because there is no real reward for completing a booklet. In fact from my observations outside of the Kumon learning center, I noticed many children were very hesitant to go inside. Some cry some yell. Personally, when I finish Kumon, I feel the greatest relief to just be finished for At least two or three days.
Overall, Kumon is a great, but maybe if there was some kind of target that students can achieve.
