(February 18, 2019, 12:33 am)I've been with Dr. Lai for a number of years before he took over Rio Dental. Not the most charismatic guy, but I fully trust him with my teeth and have recommended Rio Dental to family and friends. He carefully explains every step and procedure and how it will effect the health of your teeth in the future as well. The rest of the staff there are also lovely. Abby is a great hygienist. Thorough, but gentle with her cleaning. The receptionist, Michelle is just the best.
A game changer for me is that they were able to create a finished crown on the same day instead of having to send an impression to a lab! They don't use the gummy trays to take an impression, they use a camera, which is way less unpleasant. If you ever need a crown made and have to make two visits to the dentist and wear a temporary crown in between for two weeks, you can understand what a big deal this is.
Also, each dental chair has a tv on both the wall and the ceiling with access to Netflix which helps with some distraction and to pass the time.

The doctor clearly explains every step of the procedure and to top it off his office calls to see how you are doing after a procedure. You won't find that in this day and age and my hygienist is very professional and pays great attention to detail. I am very glad i selected this office for my dental care. Well done Rio Dental!
(June 21, 2017, 3:22 pm)Abby was great taking care of my kid for their cleaning. We didn't even need a TV to use as a distraction. Very clean and welcoming place for all people young and old for a great price!
