We just left this cottage and already miss it! Cozy, clean and comfortable cottages right on the ocean. We travelled with family, children and pets and everyone had a great time. The cottages are secluded and off from the road so quiet and private. Ruth and her husband thought of all the little things travellers might need when they arrive including paper towels, toilet paper , hand and dish soap plus nice linens and towels. This saved us a lot of trouble packing and travelling. The waterfront was our favourite place. There are steep stairs and stones to reach it but we all managed and spent hours splashing in tidal pools finding sea glass, crabs and shells etc. Argyle Shores Park Beach was minutes away as was a small town Victoria, with restaurants, shops and artisans. Ruth was helpful in directing us to the best seafood store and advice on where to buy a birthday cake. All and all we had a great visit and would return here again.
Such a nice quiet setting. The water was warm. Ruth is a very kind woman who will accommodate you. The view was beautiful looking out over the water. We even spotted an eagle flying over our heads.
If you are looking for a piece of heaven on pei, this is the place. Every morning I woke up to the smell of salt and sea, the view of the ocean every day ,so calming. Walking the shores, with everything I could need for my stay at my fingertips. Ruth thought of everything. I will make Desired Haven a part of my summer forevermore!
Wooow this place is amazing :)
A very nice and clean cottage, my family and I stayed for a week and it was great, had everything we needed and right on the ocean so watching the sun set and rise was quite an amazing sight! The owners were very friendly, accommodating and pleasant to deal deal with. Priced well within our budget. Desired Haven Cottages will be where we book again for our next trip to PEI in the future.
